Junior Payroll Specialist

Work closely with the payroll team to maintain and update a variety of payroll data to ensure that employees are paid correctly and appropriate deductions are applied with assistance from a Senior.**General Job Responsibilities**- Prepare and submit paper payroll checks for employees who do not have direct deposit- Collect banking information for direct deposit setup and initiate deposits on paydays- Familiarize yourself and keep current with the taxation of salaries, benefits and other factors- Maintain and document all payroll records- Conduct semi-annual audits of all payroll records- Perform time entries and basic Master Data entries.- Detect and process issues related to uncollected payroll- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues or concerns.- Follow and implement best practices and processes defined by the company, to work with high standards of quality.- Participate to status meetings- Attend internal training.- Perform other functions related to the position.**Qualifications**:- English level B2+- Student in accounting, business administration, industrial engineering, or a related field.- Knowledge with ERP systems and banking portals desirable- SAP HR-Payroll authorization concepts and role catalogues desirable- Understanding of payroll processes and monitoring / detective controls- Knowledge to analyze and to understand requirements from the customer- Knowhow in IT and HR infrastructures topics- Good Knowledge of MS Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Additional Information
