Junior Finance Analyst

**Major Duties/Responsibilities**:- **Monitor **Product group reporting structure monthly, ensure numbers are accurate and significant fluctuations are properly explained.- **Communicate **with LAM's sites with the purpose to obtain information on the reason behind the financial movements of each fiscal period.- **Accomplish **typical Emerson/MSOL monthly reporting cycles:- **Prepare and revise **the Product Group financials through the POR process on a quarterly basis.- **Build Reports & Support Mgmt **. Significant ADHOC Requests & one-off support to management teams - particularly on the sales side of the organizations.- Product Group reporting & Analysis (Actuals and POR).- WA/BU requests, exhibits, bridges.- Period over period analysis of Product Group.- Support to Business Leaders (PG Leaders) on financial analysis of Product Group, board meetings presentation.- Destination Orders & Sales package.- Sales and Orders year over year package (MSOL).- Extensive ADHOC reporting & special projects not defined.**Competencies**:- **Acts **proactively to deliver reporting & meet goals of the BU/ finance initiatives.- **Demonstrates **openness to additional responsibility & reporting needs.- **Delivers **reports timely & with accuracy - especially for adhoc requests.- **Proves **ability to work with limited oversight & deal w/ ambiguity & changing business models.- **Anticipates **possible problems and develops contingency plans in advance.**Education/Knowledge Required**:- Bachelor's Degree (or in progress) in Economics, Business Management or Accounting.- Further information in Finance will be preferred.- Intermediate or advanced level in English language (oral and written).- Proficient in Excel - necessary.- Oracle, Hyperion knowledge - preferred.- Emerson experience - highly preferred.**Experience Required**:- Minimum of two years working in corporate finance.- Minimum one-year work experience in a multinational company.- Emerson experience highly valued given complexity of the role.
