Job Description:We're looking for a Junior AIML Engineer to join our team in Heredia, Costa Rica. This position helps maintain high availability and optimal performance of AIML models, related libraries/services and assists in bringing new models to production. This individual uses their passion for learning to understand, debug and enhance AI models, libraries and consuming services. This role is a hybrid role. Expectation is occasional (currently 1x a week) in office with flex scheduling and split-time available to avoid traffic. We are looking for talented engineer to join our R&D team to build NLP and ML based solutions to deliver intelligent features in our products. As a Junior AIML engineer you will be responsible for supporting, enhancing and developing API/SDKs to serve AIML models, pipelines to extract features needed for model training, notebooks/scripts for model training and batch prediction. You will be responsible for developing, supporting and enhancing scalable, high performance micro-services that use trained AI models, LLM agents and algorithms. You will also help maintain and enhance foundational processes, infrastructure, internal metrics & reports for operationalizing ML flows and pipelines. You will work with a talented team of data scientists, engineers, and product managers to bring AI enabled features to market. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Develop, support and enhance orchestration logic and message flows needed to operationalize AIML models including processes involved in on-going model training. Serving and monitoring Develop, support and enhance micro-services in python, including services that encapsulate ML models and LLM agents Develop, support and enhance feature extraction pipelines to make features available for ML model training and evaluation Perform on-going troubleshooting and tuning of existing models Create and maintain scripts for configuration management, CI/CD Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent industry experience 2+ years experience working with production level Python code OR equivalent coursework/certifications Hands on experience writing clean Python code Understanding of Python best practices and common frameworks for unit testing, code quality, packaging and deployment Exposure to working with python data and ML libraries such as pandas Keras, Tensorflow, pyTorch in a production environmentExperience with one or more Python web-service and web development frameworks like FastAPI, Flask Exposure to Azure cloud or equivalent Bilingual in English/Spanish Additional Requirements:Ability to interact with internal/external clients/customers in a professional manner Self-motivated and able to work both independently and in conjunction with team members and product groups Enthusiasm and flexibility to work on a variety of projects is necessary, as well as the ability to rapidly acquire new domain familiarity As a global organization, Datasite knows that diverse perspectives are essential to our success.
