We are looking for an immediate, full-time, permanent position in San Jose, Costa Rica.
**Job purpose**:
The Senior IT Internal Auditor will conduct qualified IT audits related to the DHL Express, DHL Global Forwarding, DHL Supply Chain, and eCommerce Solutions divisions, as well as the Global Business Services and Corporate Center functions. This role reports to the Regional Internal Audit IT Manager, in Plantation, Florida and will be based out of the Shared Service Center in El Cafetal, Belen, Heredia - San Jose, Costa Rica.
**Your tasks**:
- Execute IT audits with a broad spectrum of IT environments across DHL business units.
- Prepare written and verbal presentation of audit results to local/regional/global stakeholders.
- Execute risk assessment activities to assess major areas of concern and most significant impact to business.
- Stay updated in IT strategies and initiatives established by DHL business units that may impact IT processes, controls and procedures.
- Work closely with stakeholders to establish/promote relationships as well as ensuring proper understanding of related risks, concerns and current environment.
- Drive continuous improvement of the department by enhancing audit programs that fulfill the audit's intended objectives.
- Working closely with other divisional audit teams on joint assignments.
- Conducting special-purpose assignments.
**Your profile**:
- BS/BA in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Computer & Information Systems, Management Information Systems or closely related discipline and at least 4 years of relevant work experience from Big 4 accounting firms within advisory or assurance practice and/or internal audit of established companies.
- Knowledgeable about COBIT, ITIL, ISO 27001 or any other globally recognized IT framework. Formal training/certification on one or more of these is a plus.
- Hands-on experience administering operating systems such as UNIX/LINUX/Microsoft Windows or databases (Oracle, Microsoft SQL, MySQL, MongolDB, Informix).
- Proficient in the use of MS-Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and data analytics tools for the analysis, reporting, and data management.
- Knowledgeable about Agile methodology, cloud computing, IT service continuity management is a plus
- Bilingual, Spanish or Portuguese is a plus.
- High flexibility and willingness to travel approximately 25% within the Americas.
