**Intermediate IT Project Manager**

**Description**
Technical Project Management requires specific technical knowledge to plan, organize, and control resources, procedures, and timing for a technical process or project including:
- Developing detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports, conducting risk analysis and monitoring the progress of plans against project milestones and budgets
- Providing technical and analytical guidance to the project team
- Ensuring adherence to quality standards and review of project deliverables
- Analyzing and documenting requirements by liaising with a range of users in the organization
- On some projects, where applicable, manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables.
**Responsibilities Include**:
**Position Essentials**:
- Facilitate the implementation of mission critical systems worldwide to meet business requirements. Manage business group programs. Develop and Manage Program Scope, Cost and Schedule and negotiate required trade-offs, prepares detailed project execution plan, establish and staff a project team consisting of representatives from the required functional areas, establish and maintain processes to meet the project plan and client expectations over the program lifecycle, gain approval for all changes to project budget, schedule and product definitions. Set project quality and performance standards and performs functional level quality assurance and resolve conflict among project participants.
- Develop and Execute Program Communication Plan. Accountable to effectively communicate project status to stakeholders. Assures proper communication among functional groups. Establish meeting forums to effectively communicate measures and status. Provide consistent and comprehensive status reports, project updates and ongoing cost analysis. Evaluate completed projects in relation to cost/time projection.
**REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS**:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or related field
- 2+ years of related IT experience
- Experience leading a team or managing others
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present and influence
**DESIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS**:
- Experience in a global or Fortune 500 organization
- Certifications in Agile and Waterfall methodologies
