Job description We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented IT Project Manager to join our growing Mergers, Acquisitions, and Divestitures team.
In this role, you will play a critical role in supporting the IT aspects of mergers and acquisitions (M&A) by ensuring seamless and consistent integration of acquired companies' technology systems.
You will work closely with IT stakeholders and external vendors to develop and execute IT integration plans, manage project timelines and budgets, and mitigate potential risks.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong foundation in project management and a keen interest in the fast-paced world of M&A.
You will gain valuable experience working on complex transactions and develop a comprehensive understanding of the IT considerations involved in successful M&A integration.Responsibilities:Develop and execute IT integration plans for M&A transactions.Create/Enhance existing Technical Playbook and ensure Playbook matches Project PlanParticipate in due diligence activities, analyze IT infrastructure and applications of target companies.Develop project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation plans for IT integration projects.Manage communication and collaboration between internal IT teams and external vendors.Track project progress, identify and mitigate potential risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.Ensure Systems and Data Migration between acquired and existing IT systems is completed by Technical Team.Prepare and present project status updates to senior management.Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in M&A and IT integration Qualifications 3-5 years of experience in project management.Experience with project management methodologies (Waterfall).Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, applications, and data management principles.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Effective communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks & projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Knowledge of M&A processes and terminology- Desirable.
