The IT Project Manager provides full leadership and supervisory responsibility. Provides operational/service leadership and direction to team(s). Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge through provision of value-added perspectives or advisory services. May contribute to the development of new techniques, models and plans within area of expertise. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required. Generally, has responsibility for volume, quality, timeliness of end results and shared responsibility for planning and budgets.
**Responsibilities**:
- Plan, track and manage project implementation timelines across all SDLC phases in coordination with business and technology teams
- Develop a detail project plan to monitor and track project progress
- Have good understanding of business process and project scope and objectives
- Track project performance to ensure all assigned projects are delivered on time and within scope.
- Follow change request process when scope or timelines could be impacted.
- Perform risk management considering proper risk identification, mitigation plan definition and monitoring.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation following guidelines and tools defined.
- Prepare status reports, metrics and presentations and exchange ideas/information in a concise and logical manner between business units and IT
- Act as advisor or coach to new or lower level analysts and work as a team to achieve business objectives, performing other duties and functions as assigned
- Work with the onsite and offshore development teams to meet the deliverables
- Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
**Qualifications**:
- 4+ years of experience working in similar roles
- Demonstrated ability to manage a diverse project portfolio related to technology implementations
- Should have experience working in SDLC life Cycle in Waterfall model or Agile model as part of technology implementation projects.
- Intermediate/advanced experience in tools required for Project Management tasks like Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Microsoft project, Power Point, etc), JIRA
- Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication in English and Spanish
- Proven analytical, data analysis, organization and presentation skills
- Have good communication skills to interact with the team and business.
- Proven interpersonal, data analysis, diplomatic, management and prioritization skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple activities and build/develop working relationships
- Proven self-motivation to take initiative and master new tasks quickly
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and approach work methodically with attention to detail and multitasking
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus
- Scrum master certification is a plus
**Education**:
- Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
