As part of the Colleague Technology & Support, Asset & Configuration Team's mission is to provide accountability for asset, services, and their cost while reducing the security risk.
**Roles & Responsibilities**:
The IT Asset Management Process Analyst will be responsible for maintaining and supporting the hardware and software lifecycle asset management tasks. You'll work closely with the Asset Management team, suppliers, customers, and other supporting team members to enable the lifecycle of assets, including but not limited to support and maintenance contract agreements, asset procurement, and inventory management.
- Support the hardware asset management lifecycle activities including creation of assets, management of assets and disposal management of hardware assets
- Use a variety of electronic data discovery to enable the management of hardware assets for our global enterprise
- Provide expertise in ensuring that hardware assets are reflected correctly in the ITAM / Hardware Asset Management platform repository
- Ability to provide audit functionality to ensure that Thermo Fisher Scientific is protected in relation to hardware and software lifecycle
- Assist with the documentation and training activity for our site support teams in relation to hardware/software asset management processes and procedures
- Assist the IT Software Asset team to ensure that software license records are linked to the correct hardware device
- Support analysis of new or modified hardware maintenance contracts and identify impact to our business divisions
- Acts as liaison between IT Asset Management team and hardware vendors
- Support the Software asset management tasks by performing necessary software asset management activities and duties when required
- Support the Procurement asset management tasks by performing necessary procurement asset management activities and duties when required.
- Using asset data to provide recommendations to Management on process improvements and optimization opportunities
**Required Skills & Experience**:
5+ years of meaningful experience with IT Asset Management (HAM)
3-5 Experience with ServiceNow tool and ability to run reports & queries within the tool
Experience with, and knowledge of, software asset management practices and licensing structures
Experience with, and knowledge of, the ITIL framework as well as ITSM
Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel)
Ability to grasp modern technology quickly
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Demonstrates excellence in customer service, teaming, verbal and written communication & presentation skills

Ability to prioritize and multi task
**Academic Qualification**:
Bachelor degree in Science or Engineering or equivalent experience
**Preferred Qualifications / Certifications**:
ITIL Foundation Certification
