**Principle functional responsibilities**
- Adheres to Project Management standard processes established by the Program Management Office (PMO)
- Follows the Emerson-established Project Delivery Guide.
- Collaborates with peers for identification of continuous improvement opportunities within project management
- Assesses projects to establish suitable project approach and methodology
- Assists Project Sponsor / Product Owner in the development of the Project Scope of Work
- Assesses and Leads Project Risk mitigation efforts
- Collaborates with Stakeholders and Steering Committee to establish success criteria
- Ties together Resource Capacity, Prerequisites, Dependencies, Interdependencies, Goals, Objectives, and Milestones.
- Measures and monitors project progress.
- Maintains adherence to established Key Performance Indicators according to methodology
- Ensures that all applicable project results are crafted, maintained, and retained
- Protects Scope, Schedule, Cost, Quality, and Resource allocations and collaborates with stakeholders to adjust
- Leads the tracking and resolution of issues and problems that occur during the project or Program Increment lifecycle. Advances concerns to various levels of management.
- Evaluates resource capacity and analyzes needs within a matrix organization
- Establishes roles and responsibilities
- Is accountable for Project Performance and ensures that timely Project progress occurs using various methods
- Ensures that the accurate level of stakeholder organizational change and communication occurs
- Manages relationships and coordinates work between different teams at different locations including 3rd party suppliers.
- Supervises supplier progress and adherence to applicable contracts.
- Ensures that the project team follows all quality assurance processes, including periodic reviews and testing.
**Education/language**
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required
- Prior Project Management experience required
- Technical knowledge of IT Infrastructure preferred
- Excellent English language oral and written skills required
- Project Management certifications are preferred, but not required
**Experience**
- Minimum 7+ years of IT or Business-related experience
- Minimum 5+ years working as project manager or in a related capacity
- Strong Communication and Teamwork skills
- Excellent Customer Relationship and Influence skills
- Experience in working with multiple teams in a global environment crucial
- Experience as it relates to Infrastructure, Data Center, and/or Oracle projects
- Azure Boards and other Agile project delivery tools are a plus
