Job Overview:
**Responsibilities**:
- **Comprehensive Tracking, License Management and Consolidation of Software (Focus - 50%)**
- Using existing lists, budget information and employee knowledge to consolidate and
maintain a comprehensive tracking system for all software used by the company.
- License management and auditing done by outreach to licensees to ensure that
licenses are being used and reconciling licenses against lists of individuals who have
separated from the company.
- Working with stakeholders to identify consolidation opportunities of similar
Zero-Trust & Role based permissions policy enforcement for access granting to
employees, contractors, and temporary hires.
- ** Contract Negotiations and Finance Responsibilities (Focus - 35%)**
- Working with vendors to negotiate contracts that best support company needs and
obtaining best pricing available.
- Working closely with Legal to review contracts, T&C's, etc.
- Submitting purchase requests for approved contracts and tracking for completion.
- Approving software-related invoices.
- Assisting to resolve any billing issues for software vendors.
- ** Budget Assistance (Focus - 15%)**
- Providing details upon request for budgeting needs including contract information
and supporting details regarding contracts (license details such as types, cost,
quantity, forecasting future needs, etc).
Required:
- Associate or bachelor's degree in business, Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration, or a closely related field, or equivalent experience required
- 2-5 years of IT license management experience
- A proven record of accomplishment of developing and implementing license audits and plans
- Effective verbal and written communication skills. Should be able to adapt communication style to suit different audiences
- Experience presenting license management and tracking to leadership
- US Visa (desirable)
