**Job description**
The IT Lead Business Analyst, RPA is responsible for understanding business needs and processes and to act as a partnered liaison between the business and the technical team. He/She will be responsible for providing knowledge and expertise to IT, the business and process owners in identifying opportunities for automation technology and supporting prioritization. He/She is responsible for understanding business processes, eliciting, and documenting requirements, and coordinating communication among various business groups and IT technical teams. The individual will support key initiatives within the RPA program that are in alignment with IT and business strategy, to achieve financial, operational and customer service goals for Stryker.
**What you will do**:
- Build strong collaborative relationships with key IT leaders from each functional team and key business leaders who are stakeholders of RPA.
- Provide knowledge and expertise to department heads and process owners in identifying opportunities for automation and prioritizing initiatives within the automation space.
- Prepare, define, and monitor IT automation projects to address business needs and deliver value to Stryker.
- Lead business analysts, project managers, build leads, service delivery leads and other IT resources in providing IT services and RPA initiatives to the business.
- Communicate on RPA projects by ensuring regular status updates and managing communication within team, IT organization and business leadership and stakeholders.
- Improve the business analysis function through best practices, process management, mentoring, and education.
- Define tangible use cases that align desired technology output to commercial objectives.
- Recommend business process and system changes to improve efficiency and business outcomes.
**What you need**:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Bachelor's in Business Administration or Computer Information Systems preferred.
- Qualification in Business Analysis or equivalent preferred.
**Qualifications & experience**:
- Minimum 4 years of professional experience required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience with automation software required, preferably UiPath.
- Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization structure with significant emphasis on collaboration and persuasion, rather than relying entirely on command and control.
- Project management experience, working with internal and external cross-divisional team members, preferably with IT projects.
- Experience with process mapping is required.
- Experience documenting complex processes and presenting them in a clear and understandable format is required.
- Demonstrated ability to understand, evaluate and recommend changes to business processes is required.
- Experience working with high level business stakeholders is required.
- Experience working in a regulated environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of Agile Development methodologies is preferred.
