Handle installation of POS terminal and provide orientation to merchants regarding proper terminal usage.
Conduct troubleshooting and preventive maintenance to POS terminals.
Check terminal appearance, connection, working condition and perform test transaction for all card brands.
Accomplish an Engineering Activity Report for service activity done; attach a test transaction receipt as proof that work is correct and efficient.
Call POS Helpdesk to pre-complete and update the service activity while on merchant premise.
Relay concerns regarding merchant satisfaction, POS terminal performance, and suggestions for service improvement.
Perform other task/project such as reprogramming, site visit, software upgrade, terminal swapping and pullout activity as requested by client.
Protect and secure company issued items as well as those provided by the client such as terminals, peripherals and other supplies.
Turnover pulled out/defective spare units to head office at the end of every workday.
Submit daily the Engineering Activity Report to Dispatch back-end support for proper filing and safekeeping.
Consult with the ff.
external groups: BDO - CLG POS Profiling and SB Cards - Merchant POS System.
Request for support from the ff.
internal groups: POS Dispatch, POS Helpdesk, POS System, POS Inventory, POS Preparation, POS Admin and POS Networking.
Job Specification/Skills Requirement
Must be a graduate of any 4-year course with computer background and Diploma.
Must have good analytical, communication and organizational skills.
Knowledgeable or experienced in basic troubleshooting of point devices.
Must have proper phone etiquette.
Some support will be provided over the phone (via VoIP system).
Must possess superb customer service skills.
Must be available to work for long hours on a regular day or during weekends and holidays.
Must be willing to work outdoors and be exposed to possible varying types of weather.
