Specific Responsibilities
- Provide and guarantee operational support of all platforms in scope including maintaining up to date & arranging needed downtime with all stakeholders agreement under Enterprise Change Management framework
- Follow and enforce Emerson and Emerson Corporate policies and rules regarding IT management, security, standards and procedures, liaise with other teams (Emerson Marketing, Emerson Legal and others) when required;
- Handle Platform Operation related Events, Incidents, Requests, Access, and Problems in an appropriate and effective manner ;
- Contribute in meetings with Platform solution vendors including research, version management, product changes, and Support related events;
- Operate secure and dependable assigned Services, on a global scale according to Emerson and Industry defined best practices
- Feedback any improvements opportunities to Operations Management and Endpoint Design & Transition team through proper channels and processes
- Work with Emerson IT Security Teams on relevant IT Security aspects, including patching, encryption, AV, EDR, and DLP ;
- Using set of existing or future tools, provide required reports related to Supported Services to IT Community (Service Delivery, Security Officer, others as required).
- When escalated to provide occasional Priority 1 incident troubleshooting during off shift hours
Education / Qualification Requirements of the Role
- Education- Education to degree level or equivalent, but experience may be considered in lieu of formal education
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a IT User and Site Support, IT Operation or IT Design function role, within a large-scale Enterprise environment
- ITIL certification or equivalent awareness is beneficial
- Language knowledge: must be fluent in business English (speaking / writing), other languages especially Romanian, Tagalog and Spanish are an advantage
