Intel is seeking a highly skilled and motivated intern to join our team as a Firmware / System Modelling Engineer. In this dynamic role, you will be instrumental in the development of firmware and system modelling tasks, focusing on ensuring the functionality and quality of all related components.
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop and maintain firmware to verify its functionality and ensure high-quality standards.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to contribute to the overall success of the project.
- Demonstrate strong teamwork skills, emphasizing proactive communication and the ability to escalate issues when necessary.
- Solve problems efficiently and make decisions that facilitate the progress of the project.
**Qualifications**:
Minimum qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a relevant academic program.
- Active student of a degree in Electrical engineering, Computer engineering, or other related fields of study.
- Willing to maintain an active student status for at least 1 year.
- Advanced English level.
6+ months of experience in the following:
- Programming skills in languages such as Python, C, C++, Matlab/Simulink, Verilog.
- Knowledge in Computer architecture.
- Familiarity in using version control like Git/Github.
- Familiarity reading and understanding platform specifications.

**Working Model**:
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
