Role/Responsibilities
- In this role you will be responsible for optimizing customer relationships and building revenue within an assigned sales territory for the Investor Solutions Sales team within the Structured Finance Operating Unit by helping drive the sales process by identifying and targeting new sales prospects along with growth opportunities in the existing account base.
This role is responsible for working with Relationship Managers and internal partners to drive the sales process for a narrow set of products or services.
Key activities include identifying and qualifying prospects, initiating new sales activity, and contributing to sales cycle management to closure.
Additionally, the role requires the assessment of client needs and providing clients with specific guidance and product overviews.

- Key responsibilities
- Proactively identifying and driving new business opportunities with potential targets in the territory.
- Leading and maintaining existing renewals and a pipeline of new business prospects and upsell opportunities
- Leading and supporting existing clients to generate and close new product and solution service sales.
- Understanding existing and prospective clients' projects and support needs, strategic objectives, purchasing criteria, political and other influences or constraints and decision-making processes.
- Presentation of solutions, including product demos of Structured Finance Portal, throughout a consultative sales process.
- Attendance at industry trade shows, events and seminars (where appropriate).
- Developing and maintaining positive relationships with relevant industry influencers and promoting partner engagements and crafting broader networks within professional services sector.
- Working alongside the pre-sales and service delivery team and assisting with the delivery and execution of large enterprise-wide solution sales.
**Qualifications**:

- 5-10+ years experience in a sales/account management role, with proven track record of consistently achieving strong sales targets.
- Experience in working with software and solutions for securitized products (ABS/RMBS/CMBS/CLO) or derivative products is a plus.
- Experience in supporting customers, managing relationships and/or selling software solutions and services to financial institutions involved in investing, underwriting, trading, portfolio management, and risk analysis of securitized products.
- Proven experience in developing and growing strong customer relationships.
- A strong eye for business and results driven with a strive to succeed.
- Consistent track record to be an active listener who builds positive outcomes for all partners.
- Success-driven, determined, and flexible, with a strong and principled work ethic.
- Validated skills in collaborating with colleagues and clients to develop winning, compelling value propositions for opportunities that are relatively sophisticated and where the solution is not always obvious.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient English language capabilities (business level proficiency desirable).
- Possess a proactive approach to problem solving, actively seeking opportunities for improvement with solutions in mind.
- Ability and availability for domestic and international travel 20%-40%.
- Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 (i.e., at least 2 weeks after last dose) and, if hired, present proof of vaccination on start date, as determined by Moody's.For San Francisco positions, qualified applicants with criminal histories will be considered for employment consistent with the requirements of the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance.
