Inventory planning manager will manage inventory optimization and risk management programs to drive the right level of total planning inventory.
Partners with cross-functional teams such as planning, material management, center of excellence, analytics to develop strategies around improving inventory planning, and operational effectiveness.
Uses data driven analysis to identify new opportunities for driving savings.

**Responsibilities**:
- **
- Leads complex data and business analyses to support inventory planning, identifies recommendations and develops rich data insights for executive management.
- Works across regional cross-functional stakeholders to drive effective execution of inventory optimization and risk management programs
- Develops go-forward business plan recommendations based on potential risks and returns.
- Leads cross-functional teams across the entire span of inventory planning activities, project management leadership in business transformation projects.
- Establishes the metrics required to measure and track business performance, improve process governance, enable exception reporting to help identify and address performance gaps early.
- Supports the digital transformation journey of HPE from both design and continuous improvement perspective
- Supports tools and technology enhancement to improve inventory visibility, accuracy and predictive analytics for driving business decisions / actions

Education and Experience Required:
- **
Typically 6-10 years work experience in strategy, planning, operations, finance, or related functional area.
Advanced university degree (e.g., MBA) or demonstrable equivalent.

Knowledge and Skills:
- **
- Extensive knowledge of supply chain and inventory optimization especially for Hi-Tech industry
- Excellent analytical thinking, technical analysis, and data manipulation skills.
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of how to analyze business problems using Excel, Access, statistical analysis, and financial modeling.
- Strong business acumen and technical knowledge within area of responsibility.
- Strong experience in data modelling, deep analytics, continuous process improvement including process automation, operational excellence strategy / execution and program management
