**Main Duties & Responsibilities**:
- Centralized point of contact for External 3M Partners/Service Providers per their account activity.
- Review Statements of Account (SOA's) and monitor account activity to ensure that payments are processed within contractual payment terms per Service Provider.
Collaborate with respective 3rd Party Logistics (3PL) Companies to reconcile aging transactions.
- At times, resource may be required to disseminate SOA's to respective 3PL Companies on behalf of External 3M Partners/Service Providers.
- Analyze and interpret customer contracts and rates, audit invoice payment information, and file overcharge claims in alignment with contractual payment terms per Service Provider.
- Support other departments to facilitate payment of the overcharge claims.
- Communicate with carriers and/or clients to address issues related to our audits.
- Complete special projects assigned by supervisor or other work group analysts under close supervision.
- Acquire additional logistics and human resource education and training courses as needed.
- Responsible for monitoring work queues for new requests.
- Responsible for completing assigned tasks within SLA targets (i.e.
ticket resolution, logistics execution, etc.)
- Identifies escalation trends and opportunities for process change and/or new solutions.
- Undertakes all actions required by system and updates database continually.
- Investigates and resolves problems and provides solutions which may involve a network of resources.
- Assists other work group analysts in completing assigned transportation operations and analytical tasks.
Also, assists work group analysts in monitoring changes to procedures at assigned locations to satisfy transportation objectives.
- Develops and maintains a basic working knowledge of transportation information systems to assist in the preparation of basic distribution studies applicable to area of assignment.
- Assists in identifying areas to improve communications and efficiency of operations and implementing changes.
Partners with clients in improving processes by recommending solutions and referrals to policies/procedures, SME's or contracted vendors.
- The job also requires performing other duties as assigned.
**Qualifications & Experience**:
- Detail oriented/accurate and thorough
- Bachelor's degree (or advanced studies) from an accredited university in Logistics, Accounts Payable, Finance, Business Administration or related field
- Minimum 1 to 2 years equivalent work experience in Freight Audit, Logistics, Accounts Payable
- Fully Bilingual**:English and Spanish**:
- Basic knowledge of freight bill analysis, validation, and freight classifications.
Payments, Fees and Cost and other Freight Terminology required
- Understanding of the different shipping modes and applicable rates/pricing (carrier rules tariffs, discounts).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Required
- Customer service skills
- Excellent Communication skills (oral & written)
