We are looking for an immediate, full-time, permanent position in San Jose, Costa Rica.

**Job Purpose**:
The (Senior) Internal Auditor will conduct qualified audits of Finance and Compliance topics related to the DHL Express, DHL Global Forwarding, DHL Supply Chain, and eCommerce Solutions divisions, as well as the Global Business Services and Corporate Center functions. This role reports to the Regional Internal Audit Manager, Finance & Compliance, Americas division in Plantation, Florida and will be based out of the Shared Service Center in El Cafetal, Heredia - San Jose, Costa Rica.

**Your tasks**:

- Conduct cross-divisional finance audit assignments including:

- Prepare audits and actively participate in opening and closing meetings.
- Conduct interviews or data analysis and perform audit testing.
- Collect, analyze and document audit results based on audit programs.
- Deliver high quality audit reports including value adding recommendations.
- Follow up on the implementation of the agreed action plans from prior audits.
- Assist the Audit Manager through the preparation, execution and reporting phase.
- Build solid relationships with key stakeholders associated with the audited business entities.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of principles, methodology and technology.

**Your profile**:

- Minimum Bachelor Degree in Finance / Accounting / Finance or Master's Degree as a plus.
- Minimum three years of audit experience in a multi-national, leading public accounting firm or within the Internal Audit function of a multinational company.
- Strong expertise in accounting, particularly IFRS.
- Knowledge of other finance-related processes such as taxes, treasury, and/or controlling is highly desired. Experience in compliance topics would be considered a valuable asset.
- Skillful in Microsoft Office products (e.g. Excel, Word, etc.) and ability to learn proprietary software.
- Strong understanding of data analytics, including experience using data analytics tools
- Collaborative team player; high degree of integrity, high initiative and professional judgement
- Good communication & negotiation skills with strong reasoning; comfortable in multicultural settings.
- High flexibility and willingness to travel internationally approximately 35% within the Americas.
- Excellent command of English language skills (written and spoken), including strong active listening.
- Proficiency in other languages, Portuguese highly preferable.
- CIA or equivalent professional credential is a plus.
