Internal Auditor

Working at Freudenberg: We will wow your world!Responsibilities:Support in the preparation, execution, and follow-up of process- and risk-oriented audits in an international environment, with a consultative approach.This includes:Carry out financial and business process analyses regarding effectiveness, efficiency, compliance, and adequacy of internal controls.Communicate and present audit results.Support in the analysis and optimization of internal and administrative processes.Support special investigations.Support in providing advisory services.Interact Internally with all management levels of COA and other Corporate Functions and externally with Business Groups and companies of the Freudenberg Group, as well as external auditors.Qualifications:Minimum of 3+ years job experience as AuditorUniversity degree preferably in either of the streams, e.g.– Finance, Economics, Accounting, Industrial Engineering, Business Informatics, Business Administration or related experiencePractical experience in the context of relevant internships and/or work experience is a plusRelevant certificate is a plusBasic understanding of internal auditing theory and practiceBasic understanding of systems and processes along a company's value chainKnowledge of accounting standards (e.g.IFRS, U.S. GAAP, etc) is a plusBasic understanding of IT systems (preferably SAP) and data analysisGood MS Office skillsFluency in English ~ 90% (oral, written & comprehension) Additional language skills are desirableHigh attention to details and good analytical and conceptual skills, good communication skills (verbally and in writing) and positive attidue to learn diplomacy skills to guide, influence and convince othersOpen-minded to work within intercultural teams (incl.knowledge sharing)Resilience to work in an ambiguous environmentPrepared to travel globally up to approx.25% of working time
