We are looking for an International Trade Intern to join our Supply Chain team. Based in Heredia - Costa Rica, some work experience would be an advantage but is not essential - ultimately, it's your desire to learn and blend of communication, organization and team working skills that will be important. Tasks And Responsibilities
- Registration of Invoices and Control of Account Statements of Logistic Services and Raw Material. In this activity the intern will learn about the logistics services contracted by the company.
- Maintain contact with our logistics suppliers understanding about service details and characteristics.
- Learn to use _Docuclass_ web app and revise account statements of main logistics suppliers.
- Understand how the logistics costs are part of the price of a product and how those costs can be increased or decreased depending on logistics matters.
- Learn to use forwarders shipping quote web apps, to create and fill a landed cost form and understand logistics and customs normative on Prysmian's Markets.
- Audit and control of customs clearance documentation.
Who are we looking for?
- Advanced active student of related to the International Trade area: Administration, Customs, Commerce or International trade.
- English Level intermediate.
- Strategic mindset: anticipate future trends and implications accurately.
- Energized when faced with ambiguity and uncertainty; deals constructively with problems that do not have clear solutions or outcomes.
- Personal commitment to take actions to continuously improve and lean; accepts assignments that broaden capabilities.
- Proactive.
- Open to learn.
- Proficiency with all Microsoft Applications (i.e., Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Available for a minimum period of 6 months.
