The Intermediate Collector will analyze delinquent customer issues, develop solutions and implement action plans to resolve delinquencies in a timely and effective manner. Take appropriate action to recover overdue payments. Evaluate and clearly communicate account status.
Identifies and solves problems that arise; makes decisions based on insights gained through experience regarding accepted ways of accomplishing work based on documented procedures.
Evaluates and communicates in a clear manner and works with customers and other departments to resolve issues, prepare reports, process and review account adjustments, resolve client discrepancies and short payments.
Responsible for monitoring and maintaining assigned accounts - Skilled in customer communication including difficult conversations. Enlist the efforts of supervisors, collections SMEs and senior collectors, sales, and senior management when necessary to accelerate the collection process. Must communicate and follow up effectively with the sales department regarding customer accounts on a timely basis.
**What you will do**
- Reduce past due balances on assigned portfolio, including large, medium, and small customer accounts
- Conduct detailed research, queries, reconciliation and analysis required to understand and resolve nonpayment issues
- Develop solutions and implement action plans to resolve delinquencies in a timely and effective manner
- Provide clear and concise notes for customer interactions
- Generate account status reports for management review
**What experience you need**
- 2 years experience in the accounting department.
- 2 year of excel experience.
- English B2
