As a Intercompany Purchasing Analyst, you'll play a role in handling the acquisition and distribution of materials, parts, equipment, and supplies for our organization, focally in projects and services orders. Your responsibilities include coordinating and follow-up procurement activities to ensure efficient operations.In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:Quality control of purchase requisitionsAscertains if complete requisitions has been providedGenerate purchase orders and purchase order amendments as the need arisesClear for entry into enterprise resource planning (ERP) system and transition to the buyer if requiredVerification of single or sole source documentation per applicable standard and DOADistribute purchase order for approvalWorks within the Global DOA approval authoritiesMaintain ERP system data to ensure accuracy during the entire procure-to-pay cycleIssue and expedite supplier acknowledgement in conformance to agreed final purchase orderReceive acknowledgement and update ERPExpedite shipment and materials per project proceduresCommunicate local office about status of shipmentArrange for receiving and inspection of goods whenever it is requiredCoordinate with logistics on custom clearanceShipment receipt acknowledgement into ERP SystemCoordinate purchase order reconciliationClosure of Purchase order as per standard policySupport supplier's evaluationPerformance accurately under procurement metricsPerform regulations and compliance analysisEnsure compliance to Emerson's Ethics Policy, Record retention and compliance Who You Are:You build and deliver solutions that meet customer expectations.You focus on priorities and set stretch goals.You act with a clear sense of ownership.You define overall goals and objectives.For This Role, You Will Need:1-2 years of relevant work experience within procurement, logistics or quality.In-depth knowledge in various supply chain methodologies and standard processesConfirmed abilities in ERP based systems such as JDE, ORACLE, SAP etc. (Oracle preferred)Computer literateConversant in Microsoft Office applicationsProfessional written and verbal English skills.Passionate about process improvementDynamic and proactive.Consisted record to work in multicultural virtual environment and lead/coordinate activities for offices and with suppliers located throughout the world.Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:Complete a two-year technical or business degree.
