**About the role**:
As an Instructional Design Associate, you will carry out a wide range of tasks to support the content production team and help them deliver LRN's ethics and compliance courses within the agreed timeframe. This includes implementing content changes in various stages of a course's lifecycle, as well as creating voiceover scripts and PDFs.
However, the breadth of tasks carried out by an Instructional Design Associate will constantly expand and in the future may include using AI tools such as Chat GPT, as we continually look for ways to use AI in our everyday processes.
**Your responsibilities will include**:
- Using our internal tools (mainly Catalyst Design, but also our legacy tools) and external tools (including Storyline and Rise) to create courses from storyboards that have been created in Microsoft Word or PowerPoint.
- Creating hybrid courses in the CAT tool.
- Upgrading courses from our legacy FluidX platform to InspirePlus, which includes suggesting new images.
- Adding learning content - for example, new quiz questions or learning screens - as required by our clients.
- Helping to create Codes of Conduct and related learning screens to match client requirements.
- Briefing the production team in team briefings and one-to-one.
- Reviewing courses to check edits you've made have been implemented properly, or to give notes to the QA (Quality Assurance) team.
- Creating audio scripts.
- Creating PDFs of custom courses using a standard LRN template.
- Creating or matching video transcripts to the course videos.
- Creating VTT (Video Text Tracks) files for closed captioning in videos.
- Writing Alternate text (Alt tags) to describe images in accessible courses.
- Publishing courses.
You will receive support and training to carry out these tasks.

- Be a graduate in any stream.
- Have experience in an instructional design or any writing-related role.
- Have excellent written and spoken English.
- Have excellent communication skills and be able to connect across different disciplines.
