**Duties and Responsibilities**
The Inside Sales Engineer I essential functions are as follows:
**Quote Processing**:
- Receive and process customer requests for quotes.
- Accurately upload requests for quote/proposals in the business systems.
- Provide information on pricing and lead times through generating proposals.
- Using the established standards, check that all information supplied by the customer is correct and complete to ensure the customer receives the quote/proposal they need and at the time they need it.
- Review quotes for technical conformance as in valid model options, configuration ranges, documentation options and device compatibility.
- Accurately perform sizing and enter quote/proposals in the business systems. Send quote, sizing and other related documentation to the internal/external customers, as required.
- Fields expedite requests and escalate to supervisor as necessary - Submit address request to CVDH.
- Mark Purchase Orders for upload in the inbox, together with all the pertinent information (approvals, notes, etc.)
- Contact internal customer care personnel to gather information required to resolve quote issues or to collect missing information at the data entry stage.
- Maintain updated customer information in business systems and other databases. Collect and save needed documentation to ensure compliance with Emerson record retention and documentation procedures.
- Provide Support to the Order Manager when there is an error with a model code.
- Being a point of contact when having questions on configuration of specific parameters on the sensors or transmitters.
**Customer Support**
- Provide documentation upon request (drawings, PDS, Manuals, install guide, certs, etc)
- Maintain proficiency and utilize all of business systems required to enter and process quotes.
- Point customers to online order status tools
- Provide Prolink and 5700 site keys/licenses when needed.
- Being a point of contact when the Sales Rep is not available
- Gather information and submit an RMA when there is an Order/Quoting error
**Team Support**
- Support coverage plans
- Support the 01 list and assist co-workers whenever possible.
**Phone**
- Practice good phone skills in terms of the ability to open, manage and close a presales technical sales support call. Manage in a timely, accurate and proactive way each customer interaction.
- Escalate support requests to Tier II Tech Support
- Warm Transfer calls to correct department or individual.
- Own phone RFQ's and gather the necessary information for the ISE to complete the quote.
**Sales**
- Submit request for new ETO products.
- Seek appropriate discount approvals per DoA.
- Complete model code and pricing on GP analysis form to Sales Rep.
- Identify special customer requirements (Nuclear, Export, Trade Compliance, Government, PMO).
- Support communication and coordination between Sales Rep and Order Manager.
- Maintain competitive edge by differentiating Micro Motion products and their specific values. Continuous Improvement
- Maintain current product knowledge by watching GLC assignments and attending product update meeting.
- Provide feedback on current processes and best practices.
- Maintain an EDP throughout the year to track growth.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree or Advanced Student of Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering of any other engineering related field.
- 1 to 2 Years of Customer service, data entry experience, or other related experience.
- English Proficiency (Written & Oral) Level, minimum must be B2.
- Work experience associated with selling or supporting a technical product where there was a business to business relationship.
- Solid prioritizing and organizational skills along with being a self-starter.
- Must demonstrate strong communication skills and good level of written and spoken English.
- Must be able to work well in a close team setting.
- Aptitude for technical topics.
