**Position Overview**
The Inside Account Manager is responsible for building long-term, high-performing relationships with partners, leveraging interpersonal skills, prospecting abilities, and data analysis to provide recommendations that drive business growth for Sony's products and services. You will be responsible for conducting daily outbound sales calls to sell Sony's products and services to a book of accounts of potential customers (businesses and/or end users) to achieve sales quotas. You will also leveraging strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to troubleshoot issues, align the right stakeholders and drive to resolution, as well as managing a clean pipeline where all relevant information is up to date in Salesforce and other pipeline management tools.

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities Required**

- Proactively manages accounts by evaluating product mix and profitability
- Develops strategic business plans, and effectively present to TD management.
- Provides regional level direction in the absence of the manager
- Manages advanced inbound and outbound sales calls in order to quote prices, provide product information and build relationships with customers
- Assists associates and reps in resolving complex, important customer problems or issues
- Helping resellers or customers be informed of all relevant marketing and sales initiatives, informing business partners of vendor-related promotions and floor days; forming relationships; providing proactive business solutions and presenting growth plans to these resellers or customers
- Requires high level of interpersonal and collaborative skills
- Identifies, develops, and implements business opportunities through customer facing activities
- Demonstrates detailed account knowledge
- Creates business plans to uncover new opportunities, and increase the vendor sales and profits
- Represents the vendor professionally in daily interface with business partners, customers, and supporting departments
- Represents the vendor at business partner events

- 2+ years of account management and/or business development experience with a proven track record of success building relationships and growing established partners. B2B preferred.
- Experience with influencing business outcomes and closing opportunities.
- Proven track record of leading several projects simultaneously and balancing competing priorities.
- Able to assimilate research data from a variety of sources, analyze, and recommend appropriate courses of action to take.
- Able to be diplomatic when handling calls/correspondence for Management.
- Able to coach others in the development of their skills. Able to comprehend, integrate, and improve upon complex cross-functional business processes
