**The primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to**:
- Industrial Engineers plan plant, production facilities and equipment layouts.
- Determines the most efficient sequence of operations and workflow.
- Establishes methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel.
- Develops metrics to measure equipment and factory capacity and output, and to identify equipment and process flow bottlenecks.
- May establish or assist in establishing accident prevention measures and may plan and schedule training programs for personnel concerning all phases of production operations.
- Conducts studies pertaining to cost control, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record systems.
- On the basis of these studies, develops and implements plans and programs for facility modifications and revisions to operating methods.
- Responds to customer/client requests or events as they occur.
- Develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgement.
**Qualifications**:** Minimum Qualifications**:
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position.
- Bachelor or Licenciatura Degree in Industrial Engineering, Product Engineering or related fields.
- Proficient in Structured Problem Solving, A3, PDCA cycles.
- 2+ years experience in Data Processing, Analysis, and visualization, including Excel, Power BI, JMP, SQL Pathfinder.
- Driven capacity and cost-efficiency improvement projects.
- Advanced English Level.
- Must have permanent-unrestricted right to work in Costa Rica
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Experience in Manufacturing environment. Familiar to factory physics and flow.
- Demonstrated proficiency on manufacturing capacity management in a dynamic environment.
- Knowledge in capacity planning and capital equipment management.

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
