Job scope:
Qualifications:

- Student or Bachelor degree on Customs Administration and International Trade
- Fluent English
- Proficient in the HTS, General Rules of Interpretation (GRIs), legal notes, and Explanatory Notes (Export Control Classification Number (ECCN) assignation is a plus).
- Strong knowledge of Customs regulatory compliance to achieve proper HTS classification; it applies to U.S. Customs regulations plus all other countries being supported to understand the regional variation of HTS classification
- Excel proficiency
- Ability to exercise good judgment
- Ability to manage personal performance

Additional Requirements:

- Strong research and process development skills to ensure the highest possible level of accuracy as required by U.S. and other country Customs compliance regulations.
- Must be able to work with product and/or design engineers to interpret appropriate HTS, based on technical evaluation of product.
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Thoroughly document audit trail to substantiate the classification determination and rationale used in doing so.
- Ability to process and manage large volumes of transactions
- Capable of prioritizing with time management and organization skills.
- Work with existing team to ensure all projects and daily workload are being completed and escalated to the manager and/or team lead as needed.
- Strong computing skills
- Prefer experience in the semiconductor industry supporting both capital equipment and spare parts.
