We have an incredible opportunity for an experienced and skilled HR Operations Specialist in Heredia, Costa Rica.
**Description**:
The HR Operations Specialist position exists to coordinate and implement local policies, programs, and systems to support the successful attainment of local business objectives, which align with corporate objectives.
This includes partnering with local line managers and key executives.
The key areas of responsibility include employee relations, system operations, dashboards, compensation and benefits administration, employee development, corporate governance requirements & employee engagement.
This position will assist our organization reach its corporate objectives by acting as the bridge for communication between employees, corporate head office and business leaders.
**Responsibilities**:
- Take ownership for dissemination of offer letters, NDA, USA Handbook & policy acknowledgement requirements and driving one USA Handbook, Global Offer Letter, Screening Requirements & Confidentiality Agreement.
- HC Dashboards, monitoring of Comp & Benefit spend for Costa Rica.
- Mandatory Compliance Training Completion.
- HR Operations: Keeping the HRIS/current staff list updated with all people transactions.
- Administrative maintenance of personnel documents and files.
- Corporate Onboarding (including Policy Acknowledgement).
- Annual SOC 2 Auditory Requirements & local evidence(s).
- Global Employee Engagement Initiatives.
- Contribution to our global Encompass Newsletter.
- Devising and updating of local Costa Rican policies & procedures.
- People Related Payroll gathering requirements.
- Identify and devise Costa Rican training & education needs which can complement/add to the current suite of soft skills training in EncorAcademy.
- Coach and influence line management on company policy work rules, as well as applicable federal and state regulations to ensure fair and consistent delivery of people products and services.
- Acts as a resource to employees in managing employment benefits, and our annual performance management process.
- Contributes to a cooperative, team environment by demonstrating a willingness to perform other job-related activities as needed and requested.
**Experience and Education Requirements**:
- Advance English Level (Minimum C1).
- A Bachelor's degree in Administration, Psychology, Human Resources or related field.
- 3+ years of Human Resources experience.
- Solid HRIS experience.
- Solid Employee Onboarding/Offboarding experience.
- Strong Employee/Labor relations experience & knowledge, especially of Costa Rica.
