**We are searching for the best talent for HR Director Program Management, located in Alajuela, Costa Rica**

Johnson & Johnson MedTech is building a new medical device facility in Costa Rica to support the expanding demand for life-saving medical device products in the Specialty Surgery, Orthopaedic, and General Surgery markets. This is an opportunity to help shape JNJ's supply chain network from the ground up and start up one of JNJ's largest manufacturing sites. This role advises and collaborates with Managers and Directors and other senior individual contributors in a cross-functional environment, and is accountable for mentoring and developing the program managements skills and competencies throughout the organization. This individual leads all aspects of the Program Management Office which is responsible for establishing and supporting execution of the Management Plan. Success is measured on the ability to deliver of projects on time, on quality and on budget. This role identifies, defines, and implements cross-functional projects and programs. Leads and mentors multiple direct reports, who typically run individual projects under a program level to grow the program leadership team.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Advises Managers Directors and other senior individual contributors in a cross-functional environment, and is accountable for significant career development conversations and regular mentoring and feedback.
- Leads the implementation of Program Management Plan, processes, and policies.
- Controls the coordination and delivery of program strategy across the various development phases within scope, timelines, and budget.
- Collaborates with business partners to define the scope for workstreams and projects. Identifies key cross-functional interdependencies. Owns the integration of ongoing planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting of projects into a fully coordinated program-level schedule.
- Contributes to planning project roadmaps to support and communicate the strategic and tactical goals of the business.
- Manages aspects of team operations (e.g., budget, performance, and compliance) and implements workforce and talent development plans to meet business needs.
- Navigate team through complex issues. Proactively raise concerns and build an engaging environment where different solutions can be explored and decisions can be quickly made.
- Craft senior leader communications to influence partners and clearly articulate Program performance.
- Proactively builds a hard-working, high-performance environment by aligning Johnson & Johnson's Credo and Leadership Imperatives with the strategies and goals of the team and enterprise.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in life sciences, engineering or business management is required. Masters of Science / Masters of Business Administration or equivalent preferred.
- Strong leadership with proven ability to work well in a team setting, leading a team and holding others accountable for delivery
- Strong collaboration and influencing skills; able to establish good working relationships across functions at all levels, identify risks and devise creative and strategic solutions
- Medical Device experience with management of a large program and/or several concurrent smaller programs with increasing levels of complexity and functional/external interactions is required.

**Preferred**:

- 12 years of experience in project management and cross-functional team leadership
- Professional project management certification and/or diploma
- Able to speak Spanish and English
- Travel up to 25% - primarily to North America and Europe
- Project Scheduling Skills: Operationalizing strategy by identifying activities and developing into a well-defined timeline
- Data Visualization: Translating relevant data points into digestible visual format
- Process Mapping: Breaking down complex activities into sub-components
