LATAM has an ambitious growth plan over the next three years, aiming for double digit growth each year across our five markets and clusters: Brazil, Mexico, South Cone Cluster (including Argentina and Chile), Andean Cluster (including Colombia, Peru and Ecuador) and CAMCAR Cluster (including Costa Rica and Panama).

As our HR Director, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the LATAM Area People Plan aligned with the Area's goals and its current and long-term business objectives.
This will include building and developing a strong and diverse leadership pipeline and succession plan for business critical roles in the region.
A trusted advisor to the business, you will work in partnership with the Area Vice President and the Area Leadership team, identifying HR and people implications and providing recommendations/challenges to enable the execution of plans to support business objectives.
Strengthening HR capability and streamlining process will be a key area of focus.
Ensuring the HR operating model is successfully implemented in selected markets and overseeing the deployment of Global HR program interventions to ensure they align with the Area's requirement e.g.
talent management, reward, performance management, recruitment, training and development and payroll service delivery.
Capabilities for success:
**Proven HR Expertise**
- A good understanding and expertise in HR practices including complex compliance and employee relations matters
- Proven experience in defining and implementing multi-site / multi-SET strategies both above-market and in-market, with pharma experience from LATAM markets preferred
- Experience of managing complex HR projects through a complete project life-cycle
- Experience of building HR capability and optimizing HR operating models and processes
**Data driven insights**
- Proven experience in translating the workforce analytics to fresh insights for leadership decision making, delivering a comprehensive workforce plan and people plan for the organization, and communicating a compelling story based on data.
- Applied skills in workforce planning, including predictive modelling and scenario planning, to recommend workforce shape and to deliver the business strategy
**Partnering with courage**
- Proven records in business partnering with Sr Leadership regional stakeholders to deliver organizational transformation
- Proven orientation to results with ability to translate business strategy into actionable people strategy and execute successfully
- Has strong knowledge, skills and experience of navigating and influencing senior stakeholders in a matrix organization; acted as an advocator for HR strategy and led the relevant discussions
- Challenged the thinking and assumptions of executive and team members with courageous professionalism.
Proven records in taking a stand even when doing so is unpopular, "push back" and asking pertinent, probing questions of senior executives
**Cultural shaper, D&I champion**
- Strong track record of driving a people development mind-set and building robust approach to talent management and leadership pipeline development
- Evidence of successful leadership in transformation projects
- Experience in reinforcing organizational values and culture driving D&I agenda implementation in the various countries where they operate, understanding cultural differences and identifying how D&I is relevant to them.
This position has flexibility to be based within the LATAM region, with preferences being Mexico and Costa Rica.
