The Human Resources (HR) Generalist is an entry level position responsible for contributing to the delivery of day-to-day HR support in coordination with the Human Resources team.The overall objective of this role is to assist in providing a broad range of HR services to client groups Citi.Responsibilities:Resolve employee concerns in a timely and positive manner as well as provide managers feedback, advice, coaching and real-time counsel in addressing employee and organizational issues and to enhance managerial/leadership effectivenessAssist directors/managers in defining and following through with actions to support performance management and development for employees as well as create and maintain productive work environmentsPartner with directors/managers to identify, assess, validate, and facilitate development opportunities for high potential talentIdentify and help close capability gaps, facilitate organizational change, and drive succession planning with the director/managerPartner with staffing regarding recruiting, assessment, and selection of talent ensuring hiring goals and requirements are being met in a timely manner and ensure compensation programs and actions support the needs of the businessFacilitate organizational change as required by the business and partner with the site leadership team to develop and present quarterly business updatesAssist with the management of the year-end process to ensure consistency with the compensation philosophy and business imperatives are appropriately addressedAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with support services, answering and quickly resolving employee's questions across the LATAM Region (Central America, Caribbean, and South America), providing guidance in a wide variety of products such as payroll, compensation, benefits, application support, among others.Use of multiple channels such as phone, Service Now cases and chat to interact with employees, former employees and third parties to solve the most common inquiries or to move the requests to the appropriate groups within the HR Delivery organization.Job Responsibilities:Constant monitoring of work volumes to achieve operational metric targets by managing and balance incoming workload with available staff.Provide effective assistance in escalations and root cause analysis based on data analytics and ensure timely and comprehensive visibility of issues and incidents to management.Work closely with management in process improvements and Innovation projects, makes judgments and recommendations based on analysis and domain knowledge to increase customer satisfaction and minimize any possible risks.Required to solve complex inquiries by investigate/resolve a wide variety of issues and requests that include gathering additional information, setting expectations, and working with other support pillars to fulfill the request.Assure that all the information required to solve the different employee's
