**Your Role and Responsibilities**
- Be the local focal point for managers and employees regarding any H&S (Health and Safety) topics.
- Assist in compliance reviews, general risk assessments and other safety assessments to support Health, Safety and Environmental management.
- Maintain relevant CHS logs and documentation.
- Asist in the compliance of applicable laws and regulations.
- Prepare applicable CHS reports as necessary.
- Provide assistance and advice on CHS issues to make recommendations to facility management.
- Performs ergonomics evaluations to IBM's employees and recommend specialized equipment.
- Buy ergonomics equipment.
- Participate in detailed incident investigations and Root Cause Analysis
- Assist in the development and presentation of relevant CHS training
- Observe CHS regulations, encourages safe working practices, corrects obvious hazards immediately or reports them to the proper personnel.
- Ability to work with employees and achieve cultural change in the face of potential resistance.
- Maintain positive and proactive relations with managers and employees, as well as our clients and regulatory agencies.
- Perform other work related tasks as required as assigned
- Conduct daily and monthly CHS Meetings/Trainings and schedule as needed.
- Write, implement, and manage HSE Programs, Policies and Procedures
- Quarterly performs IBM's facilities Inspections, creates and manages action plans as a result of the review.
- Have knowledge and enforce compliance of Regulatory requirements including companyCIHS policies and procedures.
- Ability to oversee hazardous waste, storage area and ensure regulatory agency compliance i.e.
labeling, containment, proper disposal, documentation, etc.
- Manages the Emergency Response team
- Manages Accidental Insurance program and reporting to vendor (INS).
- Oversee Behavior Based / Observation Safety Programs.
- Help develop Job Hazard Analysis (JHA)
- Follow Fall Protection program, inspect all fall protection equipment and maintain inspection records.
- Ability to oversee Safety Incentive Programs.
- Assist in administering and maintaining compliance programs
- Perform additional duties as assigned by CHS manager.
- Responsible for any health or safety related issues - legally required / Corporate Health & Safety
- Maintain Well being program
- Provide employee communication (regular newsletters, W3Publisher webpage) on different health and safety topics to foster employee awareness
- Develop HP (Health Promotion) activities based on data and implementation end to end
- Management of external provider of Mental Health Support.
- Take care of invoice handling and other administrative tasks related to HP (Health Promotion)
- Health Center operations - focal point for trainers and suppliers
- Represent CH&S in local CMT (Crisis Managemement Team)
**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**:

- Studies in Occupational Health, or Safety Engineering.
- At least 3 years of experience in direct Environmental, Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health and Safety.
- Direct experience must include leading and influencing organizations.
- Strong leadership.
communication, influencing and collaborative skills.
- Computer savvy in Excel and Word.
- Knowledge if Behavior Based Safety.
- ISO 45001 certification.
- Intermediate/Advanced English Level.
