Your Role
- The Graphic Designer & Community Manager is a position on the marketing team that brings with it a level of insight and strategy for project pursuits, working with multiple Principals, Firm Leaders, and the Regional Marketing team in developing Gensler's approach to specific clients and opportunities.
What You Will Do
- Working with leadership and regional marketing team members to design, write and produce proposals, presentations, award submissions and other marketing collateral in alignment with brand standards
- Create strong, innovative designs while adhering to brand guidelines and incorporating best-in-class design principles.
- Developing new materials to support business development activities, internal communication campaigns and social media content.
- Facilitating graphic design support for workshops and strategy meetings that contributes to the positioning and increase the visibility of LATAM market
- Develop strategies and plan posting calendars tailored to each social channel's audience
- Execute and manage social media campaigns to build followers, enhance visibility, and drive engagement
- Coordinate with the communications team activities such as photography sessions, update Gensler communication channels such as website, social media, editorial, etc.
- Grow the brand's social media presence by using your knowledge of scheduling tools (including HootSuite and TweetDeck).
- Analyze social media performance to test and continuously and effectively improve campaigns.
- Optimize leadership's social media channels (LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.)
Your Qualifications
- 2+ years of relevant experience; agency experience is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Communications or Marketing.
- A high degree of competency with the Adobe programs, especially InDesign
- In-depth knowledge of the social media landscape
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, as well as social media content management and analytics tools, such as Hootsuite
- 100% bilingual English/Spanish, well written with excellent verbal communication skills
- Ability to translate Spanish to English / English to Spanish.
- Ability to proactively manage multiple submission deadlines at once
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including creating effective presentations and marketing collateral
- Ability to provide strategic thinking and recognize competitive advantage opportunities for Gensler, leveraging these into marketing pitches
- Strong understanding of design principles and current design trends and technologies.
- Highly creative individual with experience in communication design
- Fast learner and willing to be in constant learning of new abilities
- Experience working directly with senior staff on business-critical projects with mínimal supervision
- Strong organizational skills to coordinate and manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Ability to work with diverse project teams and in a fast-paced work environment
