Procurement actively leads the sourcing of over $9BN of goods and services needed every year by AZ, building relationships with reputable suppliers.As a Portfolio Project Manager, you will be responsible for the team of 2 individuals who will have to together with you ensure we establish and use proper data & KPIs to measure GPS progress as the organization and drive projects arising from Global Procurement Services (GPS) but also wider Procurement. You will have to ensure that GPS have proper governance on internal projects and will have to present strong communication skills as will operate with senior stakeholders. There will be a strong expectation that the job holder will act as an ambassador of GPS, confident and capable of talking about any element of GPS.**Main Duties and Responsibilities**- **Drive GPS data strategy by developing and managing the management information system that captures the performance of GPS and enables Leadership Team to recognize improvements achieved and areas for additional focus.**- **Set internal KPIs to measure progress of GPS according to the wider ONEProcurement plan.**- Manage governance on GPS initiatives by providing right tools and methods.- Identify and deliver improvements to all processes owned or operated by GPS in order to eliminate waste, speed up delivery, remove unnecessary variation and/or add additional value. Ensure that you leverage and incorporate internal & external best practice. Act as LEAN Ambassadors.- Identify where we can implement automation to remove the need for manual intervention to improve the business outcome- Agree project plans including activities, resources, costs, roles, responsibilities and quality assurance and accountable for the delivery of projects/programmes on time and on budget- Manages relationships with key business stakeholders to ensure business requirements are effectively captured and committed to project objectives- Manage and motivate project teams, plan work assignments and schedules and ensure deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
