**THE ROLE**

The Governance Regulatory and Compliance Specialist will be responsible for ensuring that the Cloud Services provided by Temenos meet the contractual, regulatory, and internal policy requirements. This role will be responsible for the operation of external certification and compliance programs, the development, implementation, and maintenance of regulatory management processes focused on North America and Latin America, the continuous assessment, evaluation, and reporting of the effectiveness of processes, controls, policies, procedures related to the

**OPPORTUNITES**
- You will implement and operate effective governance and regulatory management framework at regional level, meeting industry, regulatory standards, and group policies.
- You will manage the certification and compliance programs relevant for the region. Heavily involved in, with hands-on support in the management of global certifications, attestations, and assurance engagements such as the CSA-STAR, SSAE 18 SOC1/SOC2, PCI DSS, ISO27018/27017.
- You will monitor and report on the status of risk mitigation strategies and initiatives taken to address compliance and control gaps within Cloud business. Controls have to address the risks, contractual commitments, client expectations, regulatory standards (FFIEC, OCC, OSFI), internal policies and Shared Services support.
- You will assist the business as needed, in the Third-Party Risk assessment and management activities.
- You will build strong relationships within the organization to foster a culture of risks awareness, control, security, and compliance.
- You will work along with the Global Governance Regulatory and Compliance team to set and drive the region strategy and objectives.

**SKILLS**
- You should have previous work experience in audit, risk, internal control, and compliance in a regulated company.
- You should have exposure to the global, multicultural working environment.
- You should understand the software, and financial services industry.
- You should have project management skills with demonstrated exposure to handling global programs.
- You should have very strong hands-on experience with obtaining/maintaining various certifications/attestations (SOC, CCM, ISO, PCI).
- You should have prior exposure to Cloud control frameworks such as the CSA CCM.
- You should have a deep knowledge of regulatory frameworks (FFIEC, FINMA, FDIC, NACHA etc.)
- You should have experience with the implementation and operation of risk and control frameworks.
- You should have a good understanding of security and privacy risks and controls.
- You should have the ability to collaborate with business, regional, and corporate leaders to obtain consensus and support.
- You should have knowledge of cloud service models and the outsourcing of financial services.
- You should have strong analytical and reporting skills.
- You should have advanced communication skills, including, oral/verbal, written, and presentation.
