- +3 years of experience in people management.
- Experience working with quality team or quality projects/initiatives.
- Experience driving continuous improvement initiatives to achieve operational performance goals.
- Proficient MS Office tools knowledge, including Medium Excel skills (formulas, VLOOKUP's & pivot tables).
- Experience managing internal and external stakeholders.
- Advanced English proficiency (C1 Level).
- Lean Six Sigma certification.
- 3+ months of Amazon tenure since latest hire date
- 1+ year(s) of experience within Machine Learning and/or Amazon Robotics.

The GO-AI (Global Operations - Artificial Intelligence) currently handles remote resolution of technologies that employ machine learning.
Our strategy is to employ a human-as-sensor model and allow humans to perform just those portions of a task that require higher order cognitive ability.
GO-AI Quality Manager is accountable for ensuring that quality audit and live feedback process across programs is managed with the highest standard.
In this role, you will work in a fast-moving environment, in which unique new challenges and new opportunities are presented every day.
You should have excellent business and communication skills and be able to work with senior management around the world, with peers on the site.
This position will involve regular communication and engagement with Operations Teams across sites and Support Functions.
Team coordination, project management and executive level presentation skills will be key to success.

Key job responsibilities The role has the following key responsibilities from the process and people perspective: People Manager - Lead a group of 4-5 quality team managers.
- Set the team's vision and culture of program management by managing individual and team performance, expectations and goals.
- Define strategy, processes and requirements by leading cross-functional teams from design to implementation.
- Plan and assign work, reward and review employees, and effectively resolve conflicts.
- Define and maintain quality headcount models for all operational programs supported Collaborate with global quality teams on quality projects/initiatives, business continuity and strategy.
- Handle career growth and development of quality team managers.
- Promote innovation culture by fostering a process improvement culture, generating ideas Kaizen / Gemba and promoting experimentation and invention in the team to simplify existing processes.
Program / Process Management - Partner with other stakeholders (internal and external) in developing process design, improvement and stabilization strategies for existing and new.
- Lead global medium and long-term strategic business planning and manage global programs planned to be deployed across sites.
- Work on strategy and requirements for maintenance, launches, pilots, tests and recruitment of the quality program.
- Identify the opportunities to re-engineer the existing processes / tooling to improve process efficiency.
This is not a virtual position.
Due to the current situation caused by COVID-19, if selected for this role, all necessary equipment will be provided for you to work from home.
However, once our company allows it and gives clearance, you will be required to continue working from our SJO19 building, located in the America Free Zone (AFZ), Cariari, Heredia.
