Your Role As a Global Services Team Lead, you will lead a dedicated team within our air logistics division, managing task execution and ensuring timely, efficient performance within quality standards.
Your focus will be on performance and execution, improving efficiency and quality, optimization, problem solving, follow-up, and people management and development.
You will work with stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions and maintain our high service standards.
Your Responsibilities • Lead and mentor a team, providing direction and support to ensure high performance.
• Ensure efficient and effective customer care operations, maintaining high standards of service.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance service delivery and optimize logistics processes.
• Monitor performance metrics, drive continuous improvement, and ensure timely and efficient task execution.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues and deliver innovative solutions.
• Provide training and support to team members, including "learning on the job" training for new hires.
• Manage respective BPA/BAM and ensure correct system utilization within the team.
• Initiate and actively participate in recruitment and selection process for respected team.
• Take ownership of processes and tasks performed within the team, focusing on continuous improvement.
• Maintain regular and transparent communication with the team and customers, aligning on all team matters.
• Regularly interact with customers, reporting on performance, quality, challenges, and improvement opportunities.
• Assess and develop direct reports, identify high performers, and ensure robust succession plans for critical positions.
• The schedule we offer: Monday to Friday, 7:45am to 4:45pm, 100% on-site.
Your Skills and Experiences • A career in logistics, experience on freight forwarder or related is desirable.
• At least one year of experience leading teams or in charge of personnel.
• Lean Six Sigma Yellow/Green Belt Certification (or similar) is a plus.
• Intermediate/Advanced English proficiency – written and oral.
• Intermediate Excel skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Analytical and decision-making skills.
• Customer-focused mindset.
