WHAT YOU'LL DO BCG Nexus Costa Rica is an exciting new office that executes best-in-class operations, serving the broader BCG business.
Nexus Costa Rica is a hub for regional and global functional teams that are co-located in a dynamic and engaging space, enabling team members to connect with and serve our BCG and client customer base.
These diverse business services teams currently cover functions such as administrative support, visual services, talent acquisition, and IT.
Due to the success of current teams, we are excited to begin building a HR Shared Services center.
This new role will be responsible for bringing critical HR activities into the service center with the intention of further increasing the effectiveness, efficiency, and speed of critical tasks.
A problem-solver by nature, the successful candidate will be adept at driving transformation, operational excellence, and delivering positive employee experience.
You will set the direction and culture of the team by creating an inclusive culture that drives engagement and inspiring the team to perform at their best.
YOU'RE GOOD AT Deliver a quality and professional service to all customers.
Understand, support, and comply with geo specific HR policies and practices.
Resolve day to day requests, tasks, and issues, escalating as appropriate, and deal with any service recovery.
Provide efficient employee and pay administration and timely employee lifecycle activities.
Ensure that all employee data is entered into Workday and HR systems in a timely, accurate and consistent manner, to agreed standards and targets.
Liaise with GEO local HR as required and in accordance with guidelines and parameters to ensure smooth operation of transactional services.
Ensure a high level of confidentiality is maintained in all aspects of work.
Ensure all corporate policies, standards and agreed HR Customer Service processes are adhered to by all staff, rectifying any non-conformities as appropriate.
Actively participate in the broader HR community including regional/global initiatives and projects Have a proactive and collaborative approach, working with HR colleagues and stakeholders to ensure timely and professional delivery.
Build excellent working relationships with Business Leaders, HR teams, employees,and key stakeholders.
Manage delivery of assigned tasks and queries within scope of personal and team workload and agreed handoffs.
Provide data for HR reporting needs across geo specific countries.
YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS) 2+ yrs of HR Shared Services experience, preferably transnational experience.
Workday experience and ServiceNow is a must.
B+ or higher level of English communication.
Strong Excel, PowerPoint, Word skills; is a plus.
Meticulous attention to detail and follow-through is a must; performs tasks with high degree of accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness.
Excellent organization and time management skills; ability to meet operate within strict time constraints.
Service-oriented, flexible, and able to work under pressure.
Ability to manage distinct priorities and work effectively in an ambitious, engaging, fast- paced environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, cross cultural understanding.
Active listening skills Excellent interpersonal skills Demonstrates accountability, ownership, and responsibility to handle confidential information.
