Job Description As a GL Analyst I, you will help the GFS Costa Rica team increase revenue and improve financial processes.
You'll work with local and global teams to align with our Digital Finance strategy.
This role offers development opportunities in Lean/Six Sigma and Automation/Robotics, and you'll report to the Revenue Recognition Supervisor.
Main Responsibilities: Support basic month end close processes and journal entries using Oracle and OBIEE.
Prepare monthly reconciliations and support ad hoc requests for revenue/cost reporting.
Promote basic standardization and create efficiencies across financial reporting models using different methods (RPA, quick fixes, Lean Six Sigma, Tableau).
Support basic monthly tasks (entry level) end processes for the corresponding team.
Follow service level agreements (SLAs) and performance metrics.
Create desktop procedure documents for routine processes.
Qualifications Bachelor's Degree : A completed or in-progress Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Advanced English Level : Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
Experience : At least 1 year of progressive experience in finance or a similar business partnering role.
Excel Skills : Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to use formulas, pivot tables, and perform basic data analysis.
Data Entry Skills : Demonstrated accuracy and efficiency in data entry.
Basic Understanding of Compliance and Regulations : Familiarity with relevant financial regulations and compliance requirements.
