SGF Global is looking for a **Functional Consultant Sourcing Tips**, for IT enterprise in Heredia, Costa Rica.
- **Must have**: Data Migration experience- In qualifying this, look for consultants who have worked in an exclusive data migration capacity as opposed to functional consultants who were primarily responsible for configuring a solution and incidentally happened to migrate data as an extension of that role.
- Such experience should be on S/4 HANA.
Not ECC.
Not HANA as a Database
- Such experience should be current.
Not a couple of years ago.
- Data migration combined with support is a red flag.
It typically suggests that they have supported production cutover and hypercare.
That is not the experience we seek
- They should not describe their responsibilities like a typical functional consultant would - requirement workshops, configuration, system testing, end user training.
Instead, it would refer to DM activities such as cleansing, data extraction, transformation, ETL, washing machine cycles, mock loads, pre/ post load validations.
If you don't find these, you are probably wasting your time.
- **Nice to have**: Pharma- If the consultant is not DM focused consultant, they should at least bring deep pharma experience where they have done S/4 HANA deployments.
