The Financial Planning and Analysis Senior Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for providing management with an analysis and insight of Citi's financial results in coordination with the broader Finance team. The overall objective is to utilize in-depth disciplinary knowledge to generate and analyze reports as well as contribute to the development of new techniques to improve processes and work-flow.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Collaborate with business and regional LFO to drive PBWM Expense forecasting processes
- Work closely with Corporate Finance teams, including FP&A and Global function groups
- Analyze forecasting result to provide insight on the drivers of the change
- Act as a liaison between the Finance Partner and Corporate Finance
- Provide ad-hoc support on questions related to PBWM expenses, Investments and Productivity including retrieving data and raising related questions.
- Respond quickly, timely and accurately to urgent requirements and senior management data needs
- Own the end-to-end Transformation process including: Analyze forecasting and actuals results related to the Transformation process to provide insight on the drivers of the change; Act as a liaison between the FTO, Finance Partners and Corporate Finance; Create material related to the Transformation process including reviews with the PBWM and Citi CEO and CFO; Partner with FTO to improve reporting and articulation of the benefitsLoad data into Cognos on a needed basis
- Drive continuous enhancement of governance and controls, including re-engineering and automation efforts and support FP&A transformation initiatives within PBWM Finance
**Qualifications**:
- 5-8 years of experience working with a variety of financial platforms
- Experience working in Financial Planning and Analysis ( Forecasting, forecasting analysis, and others)
- Demonstrated presentation skills
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced English
**Education**:
- Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
