The Mortgage Revenue team is looking for an analyst to support Balance Sheet and Mortgage Portfolio forecasting and analysis
**Responsibilities**:
- Analyze of Citi's/Citi's competitors' financial performance
- Develop and coordinate the annual planning and periodic forecasting processes and review results against plans monthly including annual budget planning and monthly estimate process
- Generate flash results/highlights for Board of Directors' reports and Executive Management reports
- Conduct various ad hoc analyses and strategically address issues that are complementary to the regular Planning and Analysis processes
- Participate in Quarterly Competitor Reviews, Quarterly Annotated Supplement, and Quarterly Investment Reports
- Aid with using metrics to evaluate proposed business decisions
- Execute time critical activities for client facing Financial Planning and Analysis teams
- Assist in the development of review with material for internal senior leadership internal and external regulator reviews
- Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
- Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
- Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
- The analyst will cover primarily balance related activities, supporting the team with Monthly Forecast Analysis of balances, which is a critical component of forecasting processes.
Support will cover all forecasting cycles: Outlook, Plan and QMMF.
- The analyst will also work with other stakeholders such as Risk, Compliance, and BP&A.
Analyst will work with Risk and Compliance to deliver regular updates on Balance Sheet forecast.
Analyst will also work with BP&A team to support various planning process and various ad hoc analysis
- ** Qualifications**:
- 2-5 years of experience in accounting and/or finance
- Experience in financial services preferred
- Knowledge of financial, analytical, and reporting tools
- Demonstrated analytical skills and excellent research analysis
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
- Presentation skills and ability to effectively interact with multiple levels of organization
- Excellent planning and time management skills
- Advanced English Required
- ** Education**:
- Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience in Finance or Accounting
