This Institutional Client Group (ICG) Finance Transformation team will play a critical role in achieving ICG Finance and Citi Finance's transformation agenda. The team reports to the ICG CFO, and collaborates closely with partners across ICG Finance, as well as the Model Risk, Capital Planning group, Corporate FP&A team, and Finance Transformation Office. The team will play a critical role in oversight of Risk & Controls framework, risk-assessment, and ICG compliance with the Citi Control policy and associated Standards.
The FP&A Group Manager will play a key role in Citi's shift to a more dynamic and integrated risk and control framework. Our goal is to provide the foundation of a strong risk structure and embed into our BAU practices.
**Responsibilities**:
- Drive the execution of Risk & Control framework across ICG. Develop and implement a strong end-to-end framework to ensure best in class practices.
- Liaise with Model Risk Management to review the validation requirements, work through common issues, develop responds and review with MRM for feedback and approval.
- Partner across ICG FP&A to lead the execution of the Risk & Control framework. Maintain a consistent approach across the team, escalate issues and ensure compliance. Act as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
- Influence the adoption of new processes and capabilities by working finance partners. Act as key liaison and provide client focused support to business FP&A teams as they adopt new capabilities and implement improvements to the process.
- Manage multiple project deliverables including identifying necessary resources and developing a schedule to meet completion deadlines
- Escalate key transformation execution risks and help identify and take mitigating actions
- Represent ICG in Citi-wide and Finance Transformation forums to drive outcomes and communication
- Build professional relationships with stakeholders and become a trusted advisor to Finance counterparts
- Opportunity to interact with senior management (within finance and the business), which requires excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills
- May include directly managing team members locally and remotely, mentoring and developing team members across ICG P&A, and partnering with other teams locally and across the globe; requires the ability to effectively communicate across all levels
**Qualifications**:
- 8-10+ years of relevant experience; experience within financial services preferred
- 6+ years of managerial experience preferred
- Understanding of the risk and control framework for model risk assessment.
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across a wide range of global stakeholders with various levels of seniority
- Effective communication skills, ability to convey clear and simple messages with a focus on what matters to drive impact
- Innovative, lateral thinker - solutions focused in solving problems and overcoming roadblocks
- Agile and flexible, resetting priorities as appropriate
- Excellent analytical and demonstrated critical thinking skills
