TE Connectivity's Financial Planning & Analysis Teams develop, interpret and implement financial concepts for financial planning and control.
They perform technical analysis to determine present and future financial performance.
They gather, analyze, prepare and summarize recommendations for financial plans, acquisition activity, trended future requirements and operating forecasts.
The Financial Planning & Analysis Teams also perform economic research and studies in the areas of rates of return, depreciations, working capital requirements, investment opportunities, investment performance and impact of governmental requirements.
**About the position**:
**Key Responsibilities of the Position**:
- Finance partner for New Product Development (NPD) and India Engineering groups, working closely with the Engineering partners to deliver activities within budget.
- Monthly Cost Centre reporting actual versus forecast
- Monthly Project reporting, actual versus forecast
- Partner with the NPD team to prepare the quarterly forecast by cost centre
- Partner with the PMO team to prepare the quarterly forecast by Project
- Support quarter-end forecasting process for the Product Line incl.
S&OP file updates and analysis
- Support month-end close process and sales and margin reporting at the GPL level for the Product Line
- Finance partner for capital expenditure requests and analysis
- Develop and support the standardization of processes within the R&D portfolio and other areas of Product Line reporting
- Analyse large volumes of data from multiple sources and translate into clear concise report outs to senior management
- Drive continuous improvement through automation of reporting
- Other Ad hoc requests as they arise
**Requirements**:
Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in finance
- SAP cost centre reporting
- Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization
- Extensive MS Excel knowledge and demonstrated data analytics
- Experience with other TE data sources preferred (TED, Hyperion)
- Advanced English level
