**Role and Objective**
Reporting directly to the Director of Finance, the FP&A Analyst will work closely with Growth, Sales, Construction and Ops to build and improve forecasts and create projections to drive company decisions.
The individual will also collaborate closely with the data team as operational queries get updated from new Eng Feature rollouts.
As the first hire in this role, you will have the opportunity to build playbooks and processes at the ground level, as well as to build out an FP&A team.
**Responsibilities**:
- Create, update and improve internal and external forecasts/models of the company's future operations (e.g.
revenue/income statement, balance/cashflow, regional and subregional models, 409a model)
- Work with individual departments on forecasts/budgets and align with management on monthly/quarterly/annual targets
- Compare historical results against budgets and forecasts, and performing variance analysis to explain differences and opportunities for improvement
- Monthly review gaps between actuals vs forecast to identify opportunities for improved forecasting accuracy
- Evaluate and update pricing models based on data insights and current market conditions
- Project opportunities for the company to expand new markets and/or products
**Requirements**:
**Must Have**
- Advanced-level analytical and financial modeling skills using Excel
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- 2-4 years of FP&A experience, including showing the ability to take on an increasing level of responsibility
- Ability to create and continuously streamline finance processes
- Strong problem solving skills to identify and recommend opportunities for improvement
- Working knowledge of GAAP Accounting
- Degree in business, accounting or finance
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
**Nice to have**
- CPA/CFA license
- Prior experience in an entrepreneurial environment
- Strong tool building and Google Sheets skills
- SQL and Querying experience
