TE Connectivity's Accounting Teams develop, implement and/or maintain one or more accounting systems: Journal entries, General Ledger, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable, Revenue Reconciliation, Cash Flows, etc.
in accordance with GAAP policies and procedures.
They also design operational procedures and processes that meet audit standards and improve efficiency.

**_ Role Description_**
TE Connectivity currently has two manufacturing sites in Costa Rica.
The purpose of this role is to provide FP&A, costing and analytical support to either, Heredia or San Rafael sites.
- The position will report to the Director of Finance/Controller for Costa Rica, focused on Capital budgeting, Capital requests, fixed assets controls (tagging/physical counts), Free Trade Zone regime compliance, capitalization of assets.
Key attributes of this role include:
- Experience in Multinational, manufacturing companies with large and complex Capital processes
- Strong understanding of Free Trade Zone regime and local requirements for fixed assets
- Experience in Capital budget and fixed assets controls
- Excellent analytical skills.
Ability to identify and resolve problems and influence the organization for decision making
- Strong communication skills
- Capable of working under high pressure and high accountability
- Very hands on individual
**Key Responsibilities**
- Capital budgeting and forecasting
- Strong procedure knowledge and able to educate other on them
- Fixed assets physical counts and tagging, excel on its controls
- Manage Capital requests
- Maintain the fixed assets subledger, control cost and depreciation, report it during close
- Control of CIP accounts, capitalizing assets on a timely manner
- Identify impairment of assets and any write off needs and recommendations
- Support projects (transfers) from the financial aspects, being the main contact to all PM's
- Build strong relationship with key stakeholders including corporate clients
**_Qualifications (Training, Education & Prior Experience)_**
Education- Undergraduate degree in Finance / Accounting / Business Administration
Experience- 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Diversified Industrial Products/Manufacturing industry experience preferred/Medical Device industry experience is a plus
- Prior experience in Capital and fixed assets process cycles
- General accounting background is a plus
