**Your Role and Responsibilities**
You will define target architectures which fulfill security and compliance controls, identify tooling and create automation and toolchains to implement modern cloud native architectures with container platforms and cloud services.
Key outcome measures for this role are:
- Design, develop, test and continuously optimize secure and compliant reference architectures covering Microservices Architecture, Event Driven Architectures, and Advanced Data / AI Architectures
- Create automation for the secure and compliant reference architectures, including dev/sec/ops automation, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code and integration of open-source SW to provide easy to use solutions to clients and partners.- Stay abreast of emerging technology trends and solutions to cloud and automation challenges
- As an IBM Financial Services Cloud Architect, you are a technical leader, serving as a liaison among executive level business partners, technical resources, and project stakeholders.
**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**
- 10+ years of hands-on experience on SW/IT Engineering, including development/integration of solutions- 3 + years of hands-on experience in cloud or hybrid cloud
- 3+ years of hands-on experience on DevOps, DevSecOps, and Production best practices
- 3+ years of experience on security by design, enabling security and compliance on solutions
- 2+ years of experience with container technology Kubernetes or Red Hat OpenShift
- 2+ years of experience with configuration automation or infrastructure as code tools like Git, Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Jenkins.
- 2+ years of experience on pipeline/toolchain technologies like Tekton
- 2+ years of experience one or more of those languages: Go, Python, Java development, C#, JavaScript
**Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise**
- Located in Costa Rica
- Experience on Financial Services or Insurance market
- Experience on Security architecture
- 3+ years of experience with at-scale Data Innovation and modernization for competitive advantages, inclusive of Advanced Analytics, Event Driven Architectures, AI and ML- Certification in RedHat or Architect certification in one of the prominent Public Clouds (IBM, AWS, Azure, GCP)
