Sysco Costa Rica is looking for a Financial Analyst to join our team. As a Financial Analyst, you will assist the Commercial Technology Project Management team in tracking and maintaining the budget and invoices for multiple Areas/Directors/Projects.
**Requirements**:
- Work with the Project Management Office under the Commercial Technology Area.
- Submit, track, update and cancel as needed the Purchase Requisitions for approval.
- Review, approve and follow up on vendor invoices.
- Follow up on Capital Expenses. Work closely with other departments such as Fixed Assets team to review the CapEx percentages.
- Track the CapEx Expense and work with Finance and project team to fix and update the amount if needed.
- Build & maintain effective relationships with Project Management, Finance and the other teams.
- Scheduling and facilitating meetings as needed and on a regular basis to review the Financial Summary for the area.
- Track contract end dates and reach out for renewals and extensions of the contracts as needed.
- Forecast, track actuals, accrue amounts every month.
- Work closely with the department Finance liaison and Project Management Office for the Technology Area Financial tracking.
**Education/Experience**:
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of financial experience with Forecasting, Accrual process, Capitalization process etc.
- Demonstrably proactive, adaptable, and flexible
- Ability to work with the Program and Project team to track financials at the Portfolio level for the area.
- An analytical mindset - able to understand requirements, and to identify and evaluate potential solutions
**Skills**:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
- Ability to be an effective and valuable part of a team
- Strong interpersonal skills and able to resolve conflict with productive outcomes
- Strong attention to detail
- Working knowledge of Workday and Ariba tools is a Plus.
- Ability to manage workload with mínimal supervision
- Experience of Workday PSA and Workday Financials would be beneficial, but not essential
- Experience with process visualization tools, preferably MS Visio2+ years of Workday Report Writer experience
