As a data analyst focused on trending and analytics, you will collaborate in projects requiring the development of statistical models to provide historical, current, and predictive views of MIS Commercial operations to support key partners across the organization in decision making.
**Functional Responsibilities**:
- Design, develop and maintain business intelligence models, dashboards, metrics, and reports that meet the business objectives
- Perform research and analysis with the purpose of understanding, spotting trends, drawing conclusions, and making recommendations to drive process improvements and facilitate the decision-making
- Contribute to MIS budgeting and rolling/quarterly forecasting process, including development and reporting of relevant KPIs
- Identify process commonalities to align similar activities, where possible
- Recommend improvements/enhancements to current processes and reporting
- Participate in special projects as assigned by management
- Support cross-functional initiatives
**Scope/Supervision and Interaction**:
- Makes decisions appropriate for level of responsibility
- Raises concerns to the appropriate level of management and keeps management informed of activities
- Interacts with MIS Business Planning in different countries, Commercial Stakeholders, and business line representatives
- Undergraduate degree in Business, Economics, Data Analytics, Statistics, or other quantitative field
- 2 + years of relevant of experience analyzing large data sources to understand key drivers of the business
- Proven analytical and quantitative skills and an ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, and complete root cause analyses
**Key Competencies**:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate across all levels of the business
- Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prepare complex financial data and deploy financial models and forecasts mechanisms
- Proven experience in Power BI (DAX knowledge is a plus)
- Strongly oriented in process improvement and automation
- Proven experience with Python, R, or other scripting languages such as SQL
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with ability to balance competing priorities
