The Central Cost and Inventory team is responsible for 95 percent of Intel Cost and Inventory, which resides in the ICOST tool. Key objective is the simplification of costing and inventory valuation through system and process improvement and automation.
The Volume and Spending Analyst will partner with the rest of Cost and Inventory Analysts to achieve team's objectives.
**The primary responsibilities for this role will include, but are not limited to**:
- Ensure flawless spending flow from SAP into ICOST
- Reconcile volume (units) for all Intel products, either manufactured internally or externally, during Close cycles
- Validate different checks done against upstream systems (volume, spending, etc.) to identify discrepancies and drive root cause analysis
- Prepare final package to be shared with stakeholders
- Perform Cycle over Cycle volume/spending assessments, analyze trend and compare against forecasted targets
- Understand business drivers and provide insightful commentary for both current and future periods
**Your expectations in this role includes but are not limited to**:
- Independently identify and implement opportunities to resolve gaps, improve, scale or simplify tools and processes across teams.
- Prioritize based on financial impact and or strategic objectives alignment.
- Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders such as Finance, IT and the different Intel factories. Challenge business partners when necessary.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Solid verbal and written communication skills.
**Qualifications**:
**Minimum Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Finance, Business Administration, and/or related field.
- 3+ years of relevant working experience in financial roles.
- Intermediate SQL knowledge (write basic SQL queries to retrieve data from data source)
- Advanced English level
- Must have permanent-unrestricted right to work in Costa Rica.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Finance and Costs knowledge would be beneficial
